SESSIONS

1. Live Looping Demo
Kristin Rule will present a short concert of her live looping pieces and talk about how she has developed the Art of Live Looping.

2. Introduction to the Art of Live Looping
A multi media presentation and overview of the Art of Live Looping including history, programs, technology and artists of note.

3. Ins and Outs Workshop and practical Demonstration
An in-depth look at various software and hardware options, amplification issues/options, demonstration of how to create and operate a looping rig.

4. Practical Looping Workshop
With a focus on creativity, composition, structure and musical problem solving.
Can be presented in 'master class' style (one participant at a time) or the group can decide to create a Looping work together.
Recording of final product will be made available for all participants.

SPECIAL FOR SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS
On request, Kristin will also talk about (and demonstrate) the benefits of live looping in classroom and private lessons.

SPECIAL FOR STRING PLAYERS (Violin, Viola, Cello, D'Bass)
On request, Kristin will also demonstrate the vast array of different sounds and styles that can be produced on these instruments and why these instruments are the ultimate for creating amazing pieces with Live Looping.
She can also present workshops with a focus on improvisation.
